By accessing or using Cineava ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions, you may not access or use the Platform. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any modifications.

2. Description of Service

Cineava is a curated streaming platform dedicated to AI-enhanced and independent filmmaking. We provide access to a library of films, filmmaker profiles, community features, and subscription-based content. The availability and features of the service may change over time without prior notice.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis according to the plan selected. You may cancel at any time, and your access will continue until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.

5. Content & Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including films, artwork, text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Cineava or its content licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not:

  • Reproduce, distribute, or publicly display any content without authorization
  • Download, record, or capture any streaming content
  • Use any automated systems or bots to access the Platform
  • Remove or alter any copyright or proprietary notices

6. Film Submissions

Filmmakers who submit content to Cineava retain ownership of their work. By submitting, you grant Cineava a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, stream, promote, and display your film on the Platform. You represent that you have all necessary rights and permissions for the content you submit.

7. Prohibited Conduct

  • Violating any applicable local, state, national, or international law
  • Uploading content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or infringing
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
  • Interfering with the proper functioning of the Platform
  • Harassing, threatening, or intimidating other users

8. Limitation of Liability

Cineava is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cineava shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Platform at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.
